Technical Office Manager

About the role

MIDO TRADING COMPANY is looking for an experienced Technical Office Manager to lead the technical office functions of large construction projects. The role involves overseeing drawing reviews, contractor selection, cost control, and ensuring that all technical specifications are met.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, compile a list of potential contractors, define award criteria, and approve preliminary invoices.
• Approve project time plans, financial cash‑out plans, and invoices for completed works.
• Prepare and manage contracts, procurement plans, and purchase requests, confirming quantities and technical specifications.
• Ensure conformity between approved drawings and executed work, and review financial analyses of executed tasks.
• Coordinate with direct reports and all relevant company departments.
• Recommend value‑engineering ideas to optimise costs and accelerate execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• Proven experience in a technical office within a large construction company.
• Strong team‑management capabilities to achieve company objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
