Visitation & Guest Services Director

About the role

The Visitation & Guest Services Director leads the creation and delivery of premium experiences for VIP visitors at the Pyramids of Giza. Reporting to senior management, the Director oversees the VIP Lounge, private excursions, and all related guest relations functions, ensuring a seamless, luxurious, and historically enriching journey.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Private Excursions and Guest Relations teams to achieve the highest guest satisfaction levels.
• Collaborate with historians, curators, and internal experts to craft a cohesive narrative for VIP visitors.
• Innovate the VIP offering by designing and launching exclusive programs tailored to high‑value audiences.
• Oversee VIP reservations, enquiries, and communication to ensure timely, professional responses.
• Streamline operational processes from booking to on‑site execution for flawless delivery.
• Maintain full budget responsibility for the Visitation and Private Excursions department.
• Implement a robust feedback system to capture, analyze, and act on guest insights and complaints.
• Empower the team and intervene personally when needed to ensure swift, empathetic service recovery.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven record of increasing visitor numbers, enhancing experience, and driving commercial growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong background in destination management, tourism, visitor attractions, hospitality, entertainment, or cultural institutions.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing visitor acquisition and engagement strategies.
