About the role
The Workshop Team Leader will oversee the commercial vehicle workshop in Ismailia, managing seasonal workers and ensuring high‑quality repairs. The role combines team coordination, safety oversight, and continuous improvement of workshop processes.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and submit performance reports for seasonal workers.
- Cascade instructions and supervise daily activities of workshop staff.
- Monitor technicians’ clocking and attendance.
- Review repair quality and diagnostic processes.
- Provide on‑job training for workshop personnel.
- Develop and implement workshop layout plans.
- Manage workshop tools and equipment inventory.
- Promote safe work practices, correct unsafe behaviors, and ensure a clean work environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical‑Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the automotive field, preferably with commercial vehicles.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and industry standards.
- Very good command of English.
Required skills
- Fault tracing.
- Wiring repairs.
- Use of diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
