Bank Teller

About the role

We are looking for a Bank Teller to join our branch in Egypt. The role involves handling cash transactions, supporting customers with deposits and withdrawals, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cash transactions, deposits and withdrawals in EGP and foreign currencies.
• Receive and process cheque deposits and withdrawals, endorse cheques for clearing/collection.
• Verify customer identity documents and signatures, obtain additional verification for over‑limit transactions.
• Maintain zero cash shortages or excesses at the counter and prepare daily cash reports.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues and escalate complaints to the Branch Operations Officer.
• Coordinate daily cash needs with the Head Teller and manage cash shipments between the branch and central vault.
• Execute ADIB Remit incoming transfers and identify potential selling opportunities.
• Conduct UAT testing and review results to ensure correct implementation.
• Ensure compliance with CBE, AML regulations and internal ADIB policies.
• Archive daily transactions and perform any other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience as a teller or in cash handling.
• Self‑motivated with good communication skills.
• Preferred previous internship or university activity experience.
