Business Development Specialist

About the role

WAJJAD is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth of its B2B platforms across governance, legal, financial and real‑estate sectors. Based in Cairo, the role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform go‑to‑market strategies.
• Generate, manage and track leads through the sales pipeline.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and commercial proposals to prospective clients.
• Coordinate with product, marketing and customer‑success teams to align client needs with platform capabilities.
• Maintain and report on sales pipeline metrics and contribute to proposal development.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven lead‑generation and market‑research capabilities.
• Customer‑service orientation to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience in B2B technology, SaaS or platform‑based business models (preferred).
• Knowledge of governance, legal, financial or real‑estate sectors is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic sales reporting.
