Business Manager, Oncology / Hematology

About the role

AstraZeneca is looking for a Business Manager, Oncology / Hematology to lead commercial strategy for breakthrough medicines in cancer care. The role turns a strong pipeline into market-shaping launches and sustained growth, working with cross-functional partners and a high-performing field force to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own sales objectives for assigned brands and align daily decisions to strategy and values.
• Lead brand and tactical plans with internal partners and the sales field force (Oncology Business Partners).
• Use customer segmentation, insights and analytics to prioritise opportunities and optimise resource allocation.
• Build partnerships with key customers and external partners to shape access, adoption and quality of care.
• Recruit, mentor and coach a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and providing feedback.
• Champion diversity, empowerment and psychological safety within the team.
• Embed company policies, compliance and governance into operations.
• Work with R&D, Medical, Market Access and other functions to coordinate strategy.

Required profile

• Sales management experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• People management and coaching experience.
• Preferred: oncology / hematology / specialty experience and launch experience.
