Cluster Commercial Director – Red Sea Region

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cluster Commercial Director to lead commercial operations across the Red Sea region, based in Hurghada, Egypt. The role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational excellence for a portfolio of hotels within the Accor network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase revenue and market share across the cluster.
• Lead, mentor and manage high‑performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own cluster P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and monitoring financial performance to meet profitability targets.
• Identify commercial opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers and internal leadership.
• Oversee pricing, revenue optimisation and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure commercial objectives align with organisational goals and corporate standards.
• Drive operational efficiency across all commercial functions and conduct regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of commercial or sales leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a cluster or multi‑unit management role.
• Proven expertise in P&L management, financial forecasting and budget administration.
• Track record of delivering measurable revenue growth through effective commercial strategies.
• Strong people‑management skills with experience building high‑performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
