Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

The Commercial Operations Manager will lead contract negotiation, risk assessment and compliance throughout the Inquiry‑to‑Order (ITO) phase. You will work closely with regional sales, legal, finance and operations teams to ensure deals are structured, risk‑managed and aligned with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, redline and negotiate customer terms, conditions and other commercial documents.
• Ensure an acceptable risk profile for the company by identifying, registering and mitigating risks in the Risk Assessment Matrix and Salesforce.
• Lead the development of contractual schemes and industrial models, coordinating with tax, legal, finance, controllers, operations and EHS stakeholders.
• Own the Commercial Operations (ComOps) risk process, applying tools, governance and metrics consistently across ITO.
• Draft and negotiate NDAs, consortium agreements and declaration forms with partners.
• Develop commercial expertise across regional teams to implement risk policies and best practices.
• Support ITO teams with KPI analysis, risk/opportunity assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with sales to create winning proposals, meet order targets and financial KPIs.
• Drive change‑management initiatives to shorten cycle times, reduce costs and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, sales, risk mitigation, tendering, bid management or project management.
• Strong contractual and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
