Communications Lead - Egypt

About the role

ABB is looking for a Communications Lead in Egypt, reporting to the Business Communication Leader of the EL Middle East and ELDS MEAT business unit. The role contributes to the Electrification Business in Egypt by developing and deploying marketing communications that support sales initiatives and the company's objectives, working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Select marketing communications tools and adapt, translate and implement them to support sales initiatives and company objectives locally.
• Develop the marketing communication strategy and maintain the positive image of the company and its brand in the minds of customers.
• Ensure communication plans align with global marketing, corporate and country communications strategies and guidelines.
• Adapt and develop promotional activities using events, fairs, online campaigns, print media and other channels to promote products, systems and services across their lifecycle.
• Stimulate lead generation through advertising, sponsorship and other promotional activities.
• Ensure consistent communication across trade media in line with the ABB communications framework to extend company visibility.
• Build a strong electrification story suited to local audience needs.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications.
• 8 to 10 years of work experience.
• Strong communication and copywriting skills.
• Experience owning a communication plan, budget and strategy.
• Enhanced knowledge of local media.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Experience in performance marketing campaigns is a plus.
