Consultant / Project Leader – Financial Institutions

About the role

As a Consultant / Project Leader in BCG’s Financial Institutions practice in Cairo, you will lead consulting teams and work directly with senior executives of banks, fintechs and other financial institutions. You will help clients tackle strategic and operational challenges, drive digital transformation and create sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams to analyse complex problems and deliver strategic recommendations for financial institutions.
• Translate analytical insights into clear, actionable strategies for senior client stakeholders.
• Manage project execution, ensuring high‑quality delivery, collaboration and timely outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with client leaders and facilitate decision‑making.
• Coach and develop junior consultants, fostering a high‑performing team environment.
• Contribute to knowledge development and thought leadership within the Financial Institutions practice.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in top‑tier consulting, financial services or a related industry.
• Deep expertise in banking, payments, fintech or asset management.
• Proven project‑management and leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Commitment to inclusivity, developing others and fostering mutual trust.
