About the role
The Document Controller will ensure that all project and organisational documents are managed, stored and distributed in a secure, accurate and traceable manner. This role supports multiple departments by maintaining version control, guaranteeing compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and control all documents according to company procedures and document‑control standards.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy and proper authorisation before distribution.
- Issue, distribute, track and retrieve documents across all departments.
- Register, classify and file documents in both electronic and hard‑copy formats.
- Implement and sustain effective version control to ensure accessibility.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to guarantee proper document flow and procedural compliance.
- Update, archive and dispose of documents in line with retention policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required records.
- Control access to confidential documents, ensuring data protection.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in document control.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of document control processes and standards.
- Familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS) and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Understanding of quality standards and documentation requirements.
