External Audit Director – Audit Firm Experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced External Audit Director to lead external audit engagements for our diverse client base. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in El Maadi and involves overseeing audit planning, execution, and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute external audit missions, assessing financial records and regulatory compliance.
• Identify audit risks and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Liaise with clients to understand their business processes and maintain strong relationships.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior audit staff, fostering professional development.
• Ensure the highest standards of accuracy, integrity, and quality throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• Proficient in auditing, financial analysis, and risk assessment practices.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ESAA, CPA, ACCA, CIA preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in external auditing or a comparable role.
• Excellent command of English and strong Microsoft Office skills.
