Finance Lead

About the role

The Finance Lead oversees day‑to‑day finance operations, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, supervises the accounting team, and monitors the financial performance of both Warehouse and Procurement functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and periodic financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage the monthly financial close process and deliver analytical summaries to the CFO.
• Directly supervise the accounting team, review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments.
• Analyze warehouse inventory reports, ensure proper valuation, and assess impact on COGS and profitability.
• Review procurement reports, monitor purchase prices, and evaluate supplier cost performance.
• Monitor cost of goods sold and operating expenses while supporting internal control frameworks.
• Coordinate data consistency between Accounting, Warehouse, and Procurement departments and act as the operational finance liaison for the CFO.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and supervising accounting teams.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess warehouse and procurement results.
• Knowledge of cost control, internal controls, and risk identification.
• Ability to prepare executive‑level financial reports and recommendations.
