About the role
A growing company based in Cairo (Al Emdad & Al Tamween) is looking for a General Accountant with 2-3 years of experience. The role covers day-to-day accounting work, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and support for audits.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Handle journal entries, account reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reports and documentation, and help resolve audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a General Accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and audit processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities.
