Interpreter Work from Home (Arabic to English)

About the role

This remote position requires you to act as the voice that connects Arabic and English speakers in critical situations such as medical emergencies, 911 calls, insurance claims, and court proceedings. The role is permanent, night‑shift based, and demands full commitment and emotional resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between Arabic and English via phone and video platforms.
• Handle high‑stakes calls across healthcare, emergency services, law enforcement, courts, insurance, government, finance, utilities, travel, and general business.
• Convey meaning, tone, and intent while remaining neutral and professional.
• Explain cultural nuances when language alone is insufficient.
• Use industry‑specific terminology precisely, especially in medical and emergency contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and follow client protocols on every call.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic with strong listening and speaking skills.
• Minimum C1 CEFR English proficiency (written and spoken).
• High emotional intelligence to stay calm and neutral during distressing calls.
• Strong concentration, active listening, retention, and note‑taking under pressure.
• Resilience to handle sensitive content without performance impact.
• Ability to follow client instructions precisely and adapt quickly across industries.
• Availability for permanent night‑shift work.
• A quiet, secure, and stable home work environment.
