Lecturer/Assistant Professor in General Surgery (Full‑time)

About the role

The Faculty of Medicine at King Salman International University is hiring full‑time faculty members at the rank of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in General Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology, starting 1 September 2025. Candidates will join a vibrant academic community that combines undergraduate medical education with clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 1–3 courses per semester, including classroom, laboratory, or tele‑education sessions.
• Provide clinical services in the outpatient clinic.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate medical students.
• Conduct research, publish internationally, and participate in funded projects.
• Engage in community service, international outreach, and departmental administration.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Medicine (General Surgery or Otorhinolaryngology).
• Excellent command of English.
• Proven record of recent international publications.
• Experience in community service and administrative duties.
• Willingness to participate in funded research projects and international collaborations (preferred).

Required skills

• Computer literacy for teaching and research activities.
