Preowned Sales Director

About the role

The Preowned Sales Director will lead and expand Abou Ghaly Motors' used‑car business across all brands and locations. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end operations including sourcing, pricing, inventory management and sales performance, while owning the P&L for the pre‑owned segment.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and P&L targets for the pre‑owned vehicle business.
• Develop sourcing, pricing and appraisal strategies to maximise inventory turnover, margin and minimise aging.
• Build and lead a multi‑site sales organisation, including sales managers, appraisers and sales representatives.
• Own volume, revenue and profitability targets and report forecasts to senior leadership.
• Define acquisition channels (trade‑ins, auctions, direct buy) and establish reconditioning and quality standards.
• Partner with Finance on inventory valuation, aging provisions and working‑capital management.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Digital on pricing strategy, online listings and demand generation.
• Monitor KPIs such as days‑to‑sale, gross margin per unit, inventory turn and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle inspection, warranty and regulatory standards.
• Coach and develop sales teams to foster a high‑performance, customer‑centric culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in automotive sales, preferably with a focus on used‑car operations.
• Demonstrated ability to own and grow a P&L, delivering volume and profitability targets.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
