Procurement (Indirect) Manager – FMCG

About the role

The role is based in Cairo and reports to the senior procurement leadership of a large multinational FMCG organisation. You will lead the indirect procurement function, shaping sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings and operational efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute indirect sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and evaluate sourcing opportunities to optimise cost and performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and drive procurement efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within the FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in indirect sourcing and strategy implementation.
• Currently based in Egypt.
• Strong track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes, cost optimisation and supplier performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
