Proposal Manager – Technical & Commercial Submittals

About the role

The Proposal Manager will prepare and issue technical and commercial submittals for tenders, ensuring full compliance with customer RFQs. This role coordinates closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to deliver accurate proposals and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue technical and commercial submittals for tenders before closing dates, ensuring compliance with RFQs.
• Manage the sales queue, align proposed solutions with sales instructions, and follow up on orders through delivery, invoicing, and post‑delivery stages.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, provide pricing, and maintain an up‑to‑date inquiry/order log.
• Prepare win/loss reports, define acceptable gross profit margins, and report any financial loss after order placement.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical or design issues, coordinating with manufacturers for swift resolution.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Finance to ensure all order documents are accurate and complete.

Required profile

• Professional, customer‑focused personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• 6–10 years of experience in presales, tendering, engineering, or project management.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and influencing abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with engineering, proposal management, and documentation tools.
