Quote & Tender Specialist, Middle East

About the role

Elekta is looking for a Quote & Tender Specialist based in Cairo to support its region sales team and distributors with tenders and quotes for the Middle East and Africa. The role covers tender handling, quote preparation in Salesforce (CLM) and regional reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle tenders for the region sales team and distributors, including document consolidation, submission and tracking and reporting
• Develop tender responses and build the distributors' and agents' ability to respond to tenders
• Be an expert on radiotherapy solutions and advise the sales team on strategic tender positioning
• Prepare quotes for the region's sales team in Salesforce (CLM), mainly for the Middle East and Africa, and convert them to orders
• Update CLM with account names, quotes, expected shipment dates, meetings, tenders, next actions, customer contacts, competitor installed base and more
• Work with region management, product, marketing, finance and operations to develop and deploy business plans, and help achieve sales, revenue and margin targets
• Submit and update region reports on time, follow sales process rules and ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory and export sanction requirements
• Maintain good relationships with distributors, agents, healthcare professionals, business managers and funding providers, and represent Elekta at conferences and events as required

Required profile

• Degree-level education in an oncology discipline; a Medical Physics degree is highly desirable
• At least 5 years of experience in radiotherapy (Linac, OIS, TPS); knowledge of Brachy and Neuro products is an advantage
• Fluent spoken and written Turkish and English is essential
• Business-to-business management and analytical skills; willingness to travel up to 15% is required
• Advantages: clinical experience, experience quoting or managing tenders for capital medical equipment in the Middle East, Africa or Turkey, international work experience, a master's degree, and knowledge of Salesforce (CLM)
