Relationship Manager - Corporate & Institutional Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Relationship Manager to drive profitability and growth within our Corporate & Institutional Banking desk. The role focuses on expanding loan, deposit and off‑balance‑sheet volumes while delivering tailored solutions to large corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maximize profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Increase loan, deposit and off‑balance‑sheet volumes.
• Prepare proposals aligned with internal policies and client needs.
• Ensure team compliance with credit procedures and regulations, including CBE guidelines.
• Assist Head of Desk and SRM in setting KPIs and managing budgets.
• Lead market research for sector and sub‑sector coverage.
• Review and approve proposals before escalation.
• Monitor operations flow and conduct regular portfolio renewals.
• Conduct regular client meetings to gather feedback and build trusted relationships.
• Provide solutions that meet client requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate banking with solid corporate credit expertise.
• Proven ability to manage large corporate clients and supervise team members.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economics and banking regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management or economics; credit certification preferred.
