Retail Manager - FACES Beauty

About the role

Chalhoub Group is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Retail Manager to lead its FACES retail network across Egypt. You will oversee 11 stores in Cairo, Alexandria and the North Coast in a multi-brand beauty environment, driving commercial performance, operational excellence and customer experience. The role suits a hands-on retail leader who wants to develop people and build high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commercial and operational performance of the retail network, achieving sales targets, profitability and customer experience objectives.
• Coach, develop and empower Store Managers and retail teams, fostering accountability and engagement.
• Own and monitor retail P&L, including sales, margins, discounts, budgets and profitability.
• Analyse weekly and monthly sales results, operational KPIs, market trends and competitor activity, then act on findings.
• Ensure stores comply with brand guidelines, visual merchandising standards and service expectations.
• Work with Supply Chain and Merchandising to optimise stock availability, replenishment, inventory levels and sell-out.
• Partner with Marketing, Training, HR and others on commercial initiatives, promotional calendars and customer experience strategies.
• Build relationships with brand partners and suppliers in a multi-brand setting.
• Oversee omnichannel operations, including e-commerce fulfilment and Click & Collect.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in beauty retail, ideally in a multi-brand environment.
• Proven Retail Manager or Area Manager experience overseeing several stores and managing teams through direct reports.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with hands-on P&L, budget and profitability management.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop large retail teams.
• Understanding of retail operations, stock management, visual merchandising and customer experience.
• Stakeholder management, analytical and proactive, hands-on leadership style.
