Sales Engineer – Smart Building & Home Automation

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is looking for a Sales Engineer to join its sales team and promote home automation and smart building products and services. The role works closely with clients, consultants and homeowners to deliver smart building solutions on residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell KNX-based building automation solutions.
• Generate new leads such as interior designers and fit-out companies.
• Analyse client requirements and propose technical and financial solutions.
• Support projects during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Provide technical support and after-sales assistance.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the smart building solutions field.
• Educated as an Electrical Engineer, Communication Engineer or equivalent.
• Age 25 to 30, fluent English, male.
• Owns a car, holds a valid driving licence and is willing to attend site visits.

Required skills

• KNX basic course; preferred: KNX certification or hands-on experience with ETS.
• Smart home automation solutions and A/V technical knowledge.
• CRM and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: AutoCAD, experience with KNX, DALI, Modbus, BACnet, Zigbee, Z-Wave and smart home brands, ability to read architectural and electrical drawings, pre-sales or solution-based selling experience.
