Sales & Marketing Specialist – French Speaking Markets (Electrical Power Solutions)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Specialist to expand our business in French‑speaking African markets, focusing on grid integration and high‑voltage substation solutions. The role blends direct sales, strategic marketing, and product performance management while acting as a technical advisor for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive face‑to‑face and remote sales activities across Francophone countries, identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate electrical power products and services.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, negotiate commercial terms, and close complex deals to exceed targets.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key accounts, distributors and partners.
• Plan, develop and execute market‑specific marketing strategies, support product positioning and brand development in the region.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide high‑quality customer support on product information, pricing, delivery and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, finance and logistics teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of sales experience in electrical power, energy or industrial sectors, preferably with HV substation exposure.
• Proven track record of selling in French‑speaking markets, especially in Africa.
• Fluent French (spoken and written); strong English communication is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage complex customer relationships.
