Senior Accountant

About the role

InnovationTeam, a technology firm developing solutions for its clients, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role covers financial reporting, analysis of financial data and compliance with financial regulations, and takes part in strategic financial planning and budgeting. It involves working closely with other departments to provide financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Perform variance analysis and budgetary controls
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and other financial regulations
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts
• Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
• 1+ year of earlier work experience
• Experience in KSA

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations
• Experience with financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, strong communication and ability to work independently and in a team
