SEO Specialist (Remote, 4+ Years)

About the role

Dot IT is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with a passion for digital growth and proven experience in SEO and Google Analytics. The role is remote and involves planning and overseeing all SEO initiatives with a team.

Key responsibilities

• Define target keyword lists and optimize existing content
• Collaborate with content and web developers to implement ongoing SEO initiatives
• Develop link-building strategies
• Create guidelines for applying SEO best practices in content development
• Identify on-site improvements in site structure, internal linking and content
• Generate regular reports for business leaders on progress toward goals
• Stay current on search trends, tools and resources, and monitor and report on competitor techniques

Required profile

• At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in online marketing, including managing organic search campaigns
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team environment; self-motivated and results-driven
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, with strong organization and time management

Required skills

• Technical SEO, including WordPress and HTML5
• Website optimization tools
• Link building with external organizations preferred
• Experience with SEMrush, Moz or Ahrefs preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
