Social Media Marketing Manager

About the role

The Social Media Marketing Manager will join City & the Sea’s boutique travel and event consultancy in Cairo. You will be responsible for creating and publishing compelling content that highlights the company’s bespoke travel, event, and concierge services across all social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with brand objectives.
• Maintain and update content calendars, ensuring timely publication.
• Optimize posts for reach, engagement and lead generation.
• Monitor performance metrics, audience insights and produce regular reports.
• Collaborate with travel, events and concierge teams to gather stories, visuals and updates.
• Explore emerging platforms and trends, and coordinate with influencers or external partners when needed.
• Support broader digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness.

Required profile

• Strong background in social media marketing and optimization.
• Ability to craft and implement content strategies that meet business goals.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing analytics, audience targeting and performance reporting.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Experience in travel, hospitality or events marketing is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
