Tendering Specialist – French Speaking

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Tendering Specialist who is fluent in French to join its Cairo team. You will analyse complex RFQs, prepare costings and offer documentation, and support sales negotiations to secure profitable contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents and perform advanced risk and opportunity analysis.
• Prepare cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), design schemes and solution architectures.
• Draft and submit tender offers in line with Schneider Electric’s governance and Delegation of Authority.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including finance, contracts, procurement, legal and sales.
• Participate in review calls (S1, SOC, RSOC, P0) and present management review packages for approval.
• Negotiate with approved vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Support the Opportunity Leader during customer negotiations and ensure contract alignment with business rules.
• Maintain liaison with project managers to capture lessons learned for future tenders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tendering, bidding or RFQ analysis.
• Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of commercial and technical aspects of bids.

Required skills

• Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office.
