Type Rated Captain – Airbus A320 (Egypt)

About the role

The airline seeks an experienced Captain with an Airbus A320 type rating to operate scheduled flights in Egypt and beyond. The role demands strict adherence to safety, efficiency and passenger comfort while representing the carrier’s professional image.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the assigned Airbus A320 on approved flight plans, prioritising safety, fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, verify crew fitness, grooming and legal documentation.
• Liaise with co‑pilots, dispatch and maintenance teams to confirm aircraft status, weather, fuel, weight and route details.
• Monitor and execute fuel‑efficient flight procedures in line with the Airline Operations Manual.
• Oversee safety, security and transit checks before, during and after each flight.
• Direct crew response to emergencies or irregularities and decide on escalations when required.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Engineers and MROs to address technical issues and ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Maintain accurate technical logs, journey books and required regulatory documents.

Required profile

• Valid commercial pilot licence with an Airbus A320 type rating.
• Current medical fitness and compliance with civil aviation authority regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a flight crew and manage in‑flight emergencies.
• Strong knowledge of airline operational manuals and regulatory procedures.
