Account Manager – Alexandria & Al Buhayrah

About the role

The Account Manager will oversee key customer accounts for Lafarge in the Alexandria and Al Buhayrah regions, driving revenue growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The role combines sales activities, relationship management and close coordination with internal functions such as logistics, dispatch and plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety legislation and enforce safe working practices.
• Develop and execute account plans to meet sales targets and expand market presence.
• Promote and sell Lafarge’s cement and ready‑mix concrete products to existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, contracts and pricing in line with company guidelines.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients, acting as the main interface between the customer and the company.
• Coordinate with sales operations, dispatch, logistics and plant teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs, providing insights to management.
• Prepare regular reports on order fulfillment, performance metrics and sales results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or B2B sales within the construction or building‑materials sector.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage customer concerns effectively.
• Capability to work cross‑functionally with logistics, plant and operations teams.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
