Accounts Receivable Section Head

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Section Head will lead the full AR cycle, ensuring efficient collections, strong credit control, and compliance with financial policies. This senior position requires a commercially‑oriented professional with extensive experience in pricing, promotions, and policy development within manufacturing or FMCG environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable function to achieve timely collections.
• Monitor customer balances, aging reports, credit limits, and collection performance.
• Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate customer pricing structures with Sales and Commercial teams.
• Handle promotions, rebates, discounts, and commercial agreements, ensuring proper financial treatment.
• Analyze financial impact of pricing and promotion strategies on revenue and margins.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve disputes promptly, and monitor doubtful accounts.
• Prepare AR reports, collection forecasts, and cash‑flow projections for management.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the AR team, fostering high performance.
• Support automation and process‑improvement initiatives within the AR cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (professional certifications a plus).
• 7–10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
• Prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, doors hardware, or construction materials is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial finance operations, customer pricing, and promotions management.
