Assistant Guest Relations Manager (German/French) – Female

About the role

We are looking for a professional and empathetic Assistant Guest Relations Manager to join our 5‑star Novotel resort in Marsa Alam, Egypt. Reporting to the Guest Relations Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for German‑ and French‑speaking guests, ensuring their stay is smooth, enjoyable and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth, creating a positive first impression.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests and complaints in German and French, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, spa and other departments to fulfil guest needs.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system.
• Assist in organising excursions, activities and special events for international guests.
• Support the Guest Relations Manager with scheduling, correspondence and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and uphold high hospitality standards.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken German and French; good English proficiency.
• Proven experience in guest relations, customer service or hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with guest management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
