Building & Facility Management Technician

About the role

The Building & Facility Management Technician will carry out civil and fire‑protection maintenance activities across Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations and associated buildings. The role supports smooth operations, ensures reliability of facilities, and contributes to a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Facility Management Engineers with daily maintenance tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor and report on fire‑protection subcontractor performance.
• Execute maintenance and repair plans, diagnosing faults under engineer guidance.
• Optimize maintenance processes through effective use of tools and spare parts.
• Maintain tool and spare‑part inventory, reporting shortages promptly.
• Apply checklist regulations to guarantee equipment availability and reliability.
• Oversee housekeeping activities at the LRT Bader Depot.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly statistical maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and required permits.
• Perform technical tasks such as painting, plumbing, gypsum work, metal work, concrete and masonry repairs, fire‑protection tasks, tiling, and housekeeping monitoring.

Required profile

• Vocational diploma or relevant degree.
• Good knowledge of civil and facilities repair work.
• 3–5 years of experience in civil, mechanical, or electrical maintenance.
• Experience in metro or train‑station civil construction is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑player attitude with self‑drive and enthusiasm.
