Business Analyst – Direct Imports & Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support our Direct Import and Third‑Party Logistics teams. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting, and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise SQL queries (SQL Server/MySQL) to extract actionable insights.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using QuickSight, Tableau or Power BI.
• Monitor program performance metrics and follow up on operational processes.
• Collaborate with operations, product and technical teams to own data‑related initiatives.
• Identify data gaps, propose improvements and contribute to continuous process optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction and requirement gathering.
• Ability to work proactively, meet deadlines and deliver projects independently.
• Experience collaborating across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• SQL (SQL Server, MySQL) and data‑warehousing concepts.
• BI tools: Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI.
• Programming languages: Python, C/C++, Java, Perl.
• AWS services: Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, IAM.
