Data Analyst Intern

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to turn user data into actionable content insights. You will work at the crossroads of data analysis, automation, user research, and content strategy, helping the team create data‑driven content that meets real user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from Superset, Intercom, Braze, Google Sheets, APIs and internal tools.
• Write SQL queries, build dashboards and structured trackers for the content team.
• Use Python to automate data cleaning, merging and repetitive tasks.
• Integrate APIs to pull data and keep content insights up‑to‑date.
• Apply basic ML/NLP techniques to cluster and classify user questions and content gaps.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to define and refresh data sources for recurring reports.
• Translate raw data into clear recommendations for content creation, revision and testing.
• Document analysis methods, workflows and recurring reports for future reuse.

Required profile

• Senior‑year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
• Good SQL skills and experience extracting data from databases or dashboards.
• Basic Python scripting ability for data cleaning, automation and API interaction.
• Familiarity with basic machine‑learning or NLP concepts such as clustering or text classification.
• Comfort working with messy, incomplete or unstructured datasets.
