Electrical Design Engineer – Power & Telecom (Cairo)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Saudi back‑office team located in Cairo. The role focuses on power and telecom design and review, supporting projects that adhere to regional standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical design drawings for power distribution and telecom systems.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NFPA, IESNA, SEC, SBC, STC and other relevant codes.
• Produce detailed CAD models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP and BIM tools.
• Perform load flow, short‑circuit and lighting calculations with ETAP and DIALUX EVO.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues and optimise system performance.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in electrical design or design review, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
