Financial News Moderator (Arabic & English)

About the role

The News Moderator ensures that timely, accurate financial news reaches users of a fintech platform. Working with both Arabic and English sources, the moderator sources, verifies, translates and publishes market‑related updates, focusing on the Saudi stock market and global economic developments.

Key responsibilities

• Source and publish daily financial news from approved outlets covering Saudi market movements, listed‑company announcements, IPOs, corporate actions, central‑bank updates and major global economic events.
• Copy, adapt, summarize and format news items while maintaining consistent headline style, body structure, tags and source attribution.
• Vet each item for source credibility, accuracy, relevance, duplication and correct categorisation before publishing.
• Translate news into Arabic and English, using AI‑assisted tools where appropriate and reviewing output for accuracy, naturalness and financial terminology.
• Tag and categorise content correctly within the platform, linking items to the relevant company, sector, market, topic or region.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of daily news items.
• Excellent bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, with solid understanding of financial terminology.
• Familiarity with the Saudi stock market, listed‑company disclosures and global economic indicators.
• Comfort using AI‑based translation or summarisation tools and a content‑management environment.
