Front Desk Receptionist – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Self Medical Hub’s New Cairo clinic. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure a welcoming, organized, and efficient reception area that supports the clinic’s patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Answer and route multi‑line phone calls, take messages and provide clear information.
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments using the clinic’s booking system.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic system.
• Handle basic inquiries about services and direct them to the appropriate staff.
• Organise and file paperwork, manage front‑desk correspondence and keep the reception area tidy.
• Coordinate daily with medical and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with professional and empathetic communication.
• High attention to detail, reliability and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in administration or healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy standards.
• Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets and scheduling tools.
• Experience using a multi‑line phone system.
• Data‑entry and basic clerical abilities.
