Junior Data Analyst

About the role

Paymob, a leading FinTech company in the MENA region, is looking for a motivated fresh graduate to join its analytics team. As a Junior Data Analyst you will support business operations by extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualising data from multiple sources to help drive informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract reports and data from various systems, including Excel files, dashboards, and internal tools.
• Clean, validate, and organise data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for different stakeholders.
• Identify trends, issues, inconsistencies and anomalies within datasets.
• Develop simple dashboards using Excel and/or Power BI.
• Automate repetitive reporting and data tasks with Python (Pandas) when applicable.
• Provide clear insights and summaries alongside raw data.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and data workflows.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic English communication skills (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting functions).
• Python with Pandas library.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Experience with automation tools or scripting.
