Knorr Quality Lead

About the role

Unilever’s Knorr brand is seeking a Quality Lead to drive product and process quality across the site. The role will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, food safety standards and internal policies, while supporting new product introductions and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain the Site Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, food safety standards, legal directives and company policies.
• Act as the site authority on product quality and safety, identifying, managing and mitigating risks of non‑conformance.
• Define and cascade site quality objectives aligned with company strategy and consumer expectations.
• Develop, maintain and apply DFMEA and PFMEA for all products and processes.
• Implement Quality Control Plans based on risk assessments and ensure critical product and process characteristics are controlled.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain and Maintenance to embed quality requirements into daily operations.
• Support new product introductions and process changes to ensure readiness, capability and compliance before start‑up.
• Manage supplier quality, including incoming material inspection, audits and performance monitoring, and drive corrective actions.
• Track Quality KPIs and KAIs, analyse trends, lead continuous‑improvement projects and ensure effective root‑cause analysis and closure of actions.
• Plan and lead internal and external audits, ensuring findings are addressed.
