Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and upkeep of plant and facility assets. The role ensures that all maintenance requests are completed, breakdowns are resolved promptly, and preventive maintenance programs are executed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned maintenance service requests and resolve equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring quality and performance.
• Plan, schedule, and complete preventive maintenance activities within budget limits.
• Monitor building utilities, safety standards, GMP, and 5S compliance.
• Support external contractors and provide 24‑hour emergency maintenance coverage.
• Maintain plant maintenance master plan, issue daily work orders, and update SAP records.
• Track machine history, scorecards, and adjust maintenance strategies accordingly.
• Participate in project design, installation, and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial or plant maintenance, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Ability to manage teams, prioritize safety, and follow ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Strong organizational skills to handle work orders, documentation, and compliance reporting.

Required skills

• Plant Maintenance SAP experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and GMP/5S practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance.
