Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to support employee well‑being at our Cairo Business Office and 6th of October plant in Egypt. The role combines preventive, curative and promotive health activities, working closely with the Occupational Health Physician and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in pre‑employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Conduct occupational health tests such as audiometry, lung function, spirometry, vision and skin prick testing.
• Deliver health awareness trainings, first‑aid and basic life support (BLS) courses with AED.
• Support rehabilitation, return‑to‑work and vaccination programmes.
• Perform workplace inspections, ergonomic assessments and equipment checks.
• Manage sickness‑absence cases, coordinate referrals and liaise with managers.
• Maintain medical records, vaccination logs and respirator clearance documentation.
• Organise health surveillance for employees exposed to specific hazards.
• Participate in mock drills, emergency response and health risk analyses.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with qualification in occupational health.
• Experience in industrial or corporate health settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with HS&E, HR and management.
• Capability to conduct trainings and health education sessions.
• Proactive attitude towards employee safety and well‑being.
