Overhead Catenary System Installation & Construction Manager

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced professional to lead on‑site Overhead Catenary System (OCS) installation and construction activities for Egypt’s high‑speed rail project. You will ensure that all work complies with design specifications, safety standards, quality expectations and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute daily OCS installation activities on site.
• Manage installation teams, allocate resources, and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate logistics and material flow to guarantee timely delivery of OCS components.
• Implement and monitor quality control across installation sites, warehouses and the second assembly centre.
• Ensure strict adherence to SHE policies through inspections and safe work practices.
• Track progress against the schedule, identify risks and apply corrective actions.
• Report status, risks and performance to the OCS Project Manager.
• Collaborate with design and interfacing disciplines to resolve technical issues and manage handover of completed OCS sections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in OCS installation within railway or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in site supervision, subcontractor and logistics coordination, and material/warehouse management.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving and planning abilities.
• Experience on high‑speed rail projects is highly advantageous.
