About the role
Mixel is seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll & Stock Administration Assistant to join its Finance team. The role supports day‑to‑day payroll processing for U.S. employees and assists with equity plan administration, ensuring accurate records and timely execution.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with end‑to‑end bi‑weekly payroll processing for U.S. staff.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions.
- Reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and support garnishment, tax withholding, and benefit deductions.
- Help with payroll tax filings, year‑end activities, and W‑2 preparation.
- Support equity plan administration (RSUs, ESPP), including grant processing, vesting schedules, and releases.
- Maintain accurate equity records and reconcile with internal systems.
- Coordinate with external brokers, transfer agents, and legal counsel as needed.
- Assist with equity‑related reporting for financial statements and SEC disclosures.
- Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, deductions, and equity awards.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing, equity administration, or a related HR/Finance support role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
- Experience with Rippling for payroll and HR administration.
- Familiarity with Workday for HCM or payroll workflows.
- Knowledge of Solium Shareworks (or similar equity administration platforms).
