Record-to-Report (RTR) Tower Lead

About the role

The Record-to-Report (RTR) Tower Lead will oversee end‑to‑end RTR functions across multiple countries and business units within Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements, and delivery of month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage RTR supporting functions across several countries, ensuring SLA adherence and operational excellence.
• Oversee accounting operations, reconciliations, statutory reporting, financial controls and month/quarter/year‑end closing.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and team performance, identify risks and resolve escalations.
• Drive process transformation through automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical accounting and IFRS guidance to stakeholders and support statutory and tax audit requirements.
• Build strong relationships with finance controllers, business stakeholders and country teams.
• Lead, coach and develop the RTR team through performance management, workload balancing and career development.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, company policies and internal control requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional finance experience, with at least 7 years in Record‑to‑Report.
• Strong expertise in RTR processes, including Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets and payroll support functions.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, tax compliance and financial controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience driving process improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, workload management and problem‑solving abilities.
