Process Engineer

About the role

Knauf is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Production team at its Suez plant. The role focuses on ensuring smooth, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing processes while supporting continuous improvement and energy‑cost reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day execution of production processes and ensure consistent documentation.
• Guide operators through procedures, resolve low‑level process issues, and maintain process optimization.
• Continuously evaluate equipment and processes to sustain high efficiency and quality.
• Prepare reports, statistical data, and analyses for performance monitoring.
• Lead commissioning of new equipment or production lines and oversee existing workflows.
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting and develop improvement plans with clear recommendations.
• Map process inputs and outputs, propose efficiency gains, cost reductions and customer‑satisfaction enhancements.
• Create and monitor project plans for process improvements and take corrective actions based on KPI reports.
• Drive initiatives aimed at energy cost savings across the plant.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s a plus).
• Strong planning, coordination and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving production requirements.
• Commitment to safety, respect for colleagues, and a customer‑focused mindset.
