Procurement Specialist – FMCG Confectionery Category

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Procurement Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end sourcing and purchasing activities for our FMCG confectionery category. Based in Cairo, you will ensure our retail stores are consistently stocked with high‑quality products while driving cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard new confectionery suppliers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and reconcile invoices.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service‑level agreements to achieve savings.
• Analyze sales and inventory data to forecast demand and prevent stock‑outs or overstock.
• Collaborate with merchandising and operations teams on category planning.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within FMCG or retail.
• Hands‑on knowledge of purchase order processing and supplier evaluation.
• Strong contract negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Cairo, Egypt.
