Program Manager – Amazon Logistics Field Operations

About the role

Amazon Logistics is seeking a Program Manager to lead productivity and cost‑optimization initiatives across its last‑mile and middle‑mile operations in Egypt. The role focuses on continuous improvement, process standardisation, and delivering measurable performance gains at delivery stations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with station management to identify, benchmark, and implement process improvements.
• Drive on‑road performance metrics such as shipments per route (SPR) and deliveries per paid hour (DPPH) using PDCA and lean tools.
• Develop and execute action plans to meet or exceed benchmark rates.
• Lead cost‑per‑shipment optimisation projects and support audit initiatives.
• Design governance for associate working hours and utilisation.
• Set peak‑time productivity targets, enable technology changes, and ensure site readiness for peak periods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of program or project management experience.
• Willingness to work non‑traditional shift patterns, including nights.
• Ability to work onsite at delivery stations in Cairo.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, multi‑criteria lookups).
