About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our commercial activities in freight forwarding across Egypt. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, operations, and documentation teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial and sales strategies to meet revenue and volume targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, carriers, and agents.
- Identify new business opportunities in ocean freight, air freight, land transport, and logistics services.
- Lead, guide, and support the sales team to ensure effective pipeline management and closing of opportunities.
- Prepare pricing proposals, negotiate rates with carriers, and deliver competitive quotations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust commercial strategies.
- Collaborate with operations and documentation teams to guarantee service quality and smooth shipment execution.
- Oversee commercial performance of all branches and align them with company objectives.
- Prepare periodic commercial reports, forecasts, and KPIs for top management.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales or commercial roles in Egypt.
- Strong knowledge of ocean, air, and inland logistics within the Egyptian market.
- Proven record in business development and key account management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and develop effective strategies.
