Senior Associate – Experienced Hire Recruitment Consultant (6‑month contract)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Experienced Hire Recruitment team for a six‑month fixed‑term assignment covering Egypt and Jordan. You will partner with business stakeholders and service lines across the MENA region to design and execute recruitment strategies that attract high‑potential talent for tax‑related positions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring targets, timelines and ideal candidate profiles.
• Design data‑driven recruitment strategies aligned with business priorities, nationalization agendas and regional talent market insights.
• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for experienced hires in Tax, including attraction, sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews, offers and pre‑joining experience.
• Use recruitment data and insights to monitor progress, identify risks and continuously improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, compliant candidate records in recruitment systems and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Consultative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of tax recruitment or similar specialisations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities across locations.
• Creative, strategic and commercially aware approach to problem solving.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for handling large data sets and generating insights.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience with recruitment management systems such as SuccessFactors.
